Hi, I’m Beth, and I’m credentialed to provide supervision for residents in counseling in Virginia. I specialize in working with school counselors who are pursuing their LPC credentials as well as those seeking their BHT, BHT-A, QMHP-T or QMHP certification.
With my background as a former school counselor, my current role as a licensed professional counselor, and my credentialing as an Approved Clinical Supervisor, I bring a wealth of experience that can help you grow on your way to becoming a licensed professional counselor.

LPC Residency Requirements:
- Supervised Residency
You need to complete 2,000 hours of supervised counseling practice (face to face hours) This includes working with different populations, dealing with various clinical issues, and using different theoretical approaches. You will keep track of. your total number of work hours as well as your face to face time throughout residency.
- Supervisory Sessions
You must complete at least 200 hours of supervision sessions. For every 40 hours of work experience, you need 1 to 4 hours of supervision. Half of these 200 hours can be in group supervision.
